1. This Site is the official website of the Early Intervention Conference 2024.
2. If you are only browsing this website, we do not capture data that allows us to identify you individually.

All access to the Website is governed by these terms and conditions below (the “Terms”). We reserve the right to amend these Terms from time to time. Your access to and use of the Website is subject to these Terms as may be amended from time to time and published on the Website.

1. The accessibility and operation of the Website is reliant on technologies outside our control. We are unable to guarantee continued accessibility or uninterrupted operation of the Website at all times.

We do not, however, accept liability for        any breaches of security, authenticity, integrity or confidentiality of any transactions and other communications made through the Website.

Subject to these Terms, we hereby grant all Users a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, non-sub-licensable right and licence to access and use the Website and all content uploaded therein (the “Content”), solely within the scope of their status as Users of the Website. The Users agree that their use of the Website and all its content shall be for the purposes of study and research.
8. The copyright and other intellectual property rights in the Content, as well as in the design, source codes, graphics, audio and video of the Website are owned by, licensed to or controlled by us, and may not be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted in any form or by any means, whether electronic, mechanical, photocopy, recording or otherwise, without written permission from us.

2. General provisions
 
2.1 The website <website> (hereinafter the Site) and conference sales through the Site are provided by “Early Intervention Conference 2024” (here and after referred to as the EIC 2024)
2.2 By accessing and using the Site, viewing any section or fragment thereof and using any of its functionality, you agree to the EIC 2024 Privacy Policy.
2.3 References to “us” means EIC 2024 and references to “we” “us” and “our” shall be construed accordingly.  Reference to “you” means the entity completing a booking request and references to “your” shall be construed accordingly.
2.4 By registering for the conference, you certify that you have read and agree to these Terms of Use. In case if additional specific terms have been published for the purchase of tickets, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these additional terms.
 
3. Price and Currency
 
3.1 Our prices for attending the conference are set out on the relevant registration form from our website. Prices may be subject to change from time to time.
3.2 All fees quoted are in SGD – Singapore Dollar. Any currency conversion costs, or other charges or costs incurred by you when making a payment or in processing a refund, shall be borne by you and shall not be deducted from any fees owed.
 
4. Terms of Participation in the Conference
 
4.1 Participation in the conference is paid in 100% prepayment and cannot be paid in parts.
4.2 Registration on the Organizer’s web-site does not guarantee participation in the conference until the registration fee is paid.
4.3 Registration fee does not grant the right to speak at the conference and share any advertising materials to the Participant.
 
5. Purchase and settlement procedures
 
5.1 When making a payment, you confirm the conformity of the purchase content with your will.
5.2 The payment must be made according to the due date on invoice issued (for group bookings), or in case of payment cards processing in 15 minutes of the ticket selection, otherwise the ticket booking will be cancelled and you may not receive tickets. If this situation arises, you can contact the enquiries@eiconference2024.sg.
 
6. Online payment
 
6.1 Payments through the online payment facility may only be made using Visa, MasterCard debit or credit cards.
6.2 If your payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation notice of your completed payment. If unsuccessful, you will be advised that your payment has failed. EIC 2024 will not be advised why a payment has failed; therefore, you should contact your card provider for details. EIC 2024 will confirm your payment details via email.
6.3 If your card supplier declines payment, EIC 2024 is under no obligation to bring this fact to your attention. You should check with your bank/credit/debit card supplier that payment has been deducted from your account.
 
7. CHANGES TO THE CONFERENCE, POSTPONEMENT AND CANCELLATIONS
 
7.1 We reserve the right and shall be entitled to make changes to the conference at any time without liability to you, including without limitation in respect of the advertised content, timings on the day, date, format, venue and/or location of the conference or the advertised speakers. We will keep you informed of any such changes from time to time.

7.2 We reserve the right and shall be entitled, in our sole discretion, to cancel or postpone the date of the conference. We shall give written notice to you of our decision to cancel or postpone the conference. In the case of our:
 
7.2.1 If the conference is postponed, the conference will be offered on the new date as varied.
7.2.2 If the conference is cancelled by organisers, participants will either be given a full refund or credit for alternative conference.
 
7.3 A replacement delegate may be arranged if payment has been received in full of the following conditions:
7.3.1. The replacement must be arranged least 7 working days before the conference by email at: enquiries@eiconference2024.sg;
7.3.2 Only name and email address can be changed to the replacement delegate's. Breakout session selections will remain as per original selections;
7.3.3 Sessions registered cannot be changed and payment made (if any) cannot be refunded and
7.3.4 Replacement delegate must be from the same organisation, no replacement from other organisation.
 
7.4 There will be no refunds by us in respect of any postponement, cancellations, or non-attendance by you.
 
8. Responsibility
8.1 You are responsible for the correct input of your data and the ticket user data by the purchase. When entering incorrect data, the ticket may not be processed correctly or the person may not be allowed to conference.
8.2 Failure to fulfil the attendance requirement of training grants* (if applicable) will subject the participant to pay the full fees (before funding) or possible payment as determined by his/her sponsoring organisation.
 
9. Other rules
9.1 All disputes and disagreements are solved between both sides, but if no agreement is reached, the dispute shall be resolved by the law according to the place of registration of the EIC 2024.
9.2 EIC 2024 reserves the right to change the Terms of Use at any time.
 
*Training grants are available for EIPIC, Early Childhood, EIPIC-P, and hospital staff. Please refer to the FAQ for the funding details for each category.
